  • Week One:

From all the wierd smells, sights and sounds of bazaar night to the long lines of Mu Kappa Consulate day....week one is now finished.  All the kids seem to be having a blast.  The cave was muddy dark and fun as always.  One kid even made it all the way through the cave with a cast on his arm!  So many good times....

This year finds Bootcamp with all new staff.  Joel and Leah are coordinating and I'm trying to keep up to pace with all their logistical needs...but other than the three of us...the rest are new to bootcamp.  However, they have great attitudes and are doing an amazing job with the kids.  Ha...then again...we havn't gone camping yet.  That always tends to stretch people in ways they've never thought possible.

Camping at Mu Kappa is the seond most intense experience I've ever had...after Army Basic Training....ofcourse that's way more intense...but still the camping in the middle of nowhere with practically nothing in the form of comfort....yeah..can be a bit intense.  So anyways....PFO is going well so far....catch you next week!
